Boucherville, June 13, 2011 – We are pleased to announce that Graymont's Bedford Plant in Québec, received the F.J. O’Connell Trophy for safety excellence from the Québec Mining Association. The award is given annually to mining companies that have shown the most significant occupational safety improvements in Québec mines.
The award is named after F.J. O’Connell, a mining engineer recognized as a fervent promoter of mine safety in Québec.
Graymont would like to thank plant manager Sebastien Villeneuve and his team for their commitment to safety, because at Graymont, safety does come first.
