Calco™ is produced from a high purity light to dark grey crystalline limestone by quarrying, crushing, grinding, and screening operations at our two large quarries in Bedford and St-Marc-des-Carrieres in Quebec Canada.
Calco™ products are available in a variety of sizes from extra fine limestone to granules. Because of their high calcium carbonate content, Calco™ products are widely used in the animal feed sector. Calco™ products are also used in a variety of industrial filler applications including production of glass bottles, polymer films or sheets and caulking. Calco™ is also used in the manufacture of cat litter.
Graymont actively manage the quality of Calco™ products starting at the quarry source and continuing throughout all stages of the manufacturing process. Consistency of grind and moisture content are monitored throughout the production process to deliver a consistent product. Calco™ products are available in bulk, 500 kg, 1000 kg, and 1250 kg super sacks and 20 kg bags.
