We proactively invest in the research and development of low-carbon calcium-based solutions to meet our customers’ current and emerging needs. These solutions utilize high-purity lime and calcium compounds to address a broader range of products and applications beyond just lime and limestone.
For example, today our solutions support water and air purification as well as the extraction and processing of critical minerals used in EV battery manufacturing. Graymont also offers an innovative low-carbon product line called GRAYBONDTM binders. By replacing a percentage of cement with GRAYBONDTM, our customers can significantly reduce GHG emissions in applications such as mine tailings backfill, with future expansions into soil stabilization and road construction.
In addition, Graymont supports decarbonization efforts in the communities where we operate. We’re also involved in a variety of community activities that remediate, maintain and enhance our precious natural world.
