Eden

Graymont's manufacturing operations at Eden, Wisconsin produce dolomitic pebble lime and 'Type S' pressure hydrated lime from dolomitic limestone quarried on site. In addition to the rotary kilns and hydrator, the company operates a blending plant for lime-based mortars, which are available in more than 250 colors. The Eden plant ships products throughout Canada and the United States under the brand names Western Miracle Masons Lime, Western Type S, N and M gray and Colored Mortar Mixes and Limate, General Purpose Lime. Both the Eden and Green Bay, WI plants are served by the Canadian National Railroad.

Faulkner

Graymont's Faulkner lime plant is located near Moosehorn, Manitoba, within two miles of the shore of Lake Manitoba. The plant consists of a preheater-equipped rotary kiln that can produce both high-calcium quicklime and dolomitic lime. The kiln is fired with pulverized coal and petcoke. Seven silos provide storage for pebbled, pulverized and crushed quicklime or dolomitic lime. The plant is fully equipped with truck load-out equipment. In addition to quicklime production, the plant produces calcium carbonate.

Pavilion

The demolition and dismantling of equipment at Graymont shuttered Pavilion plant was completed during 2018. The lime operations we indefinitely idled in 2016, due to a combination of poor market conditions, an uncompetitive cost structure and limited stone resources, and were permanently closed in late 2017.

Summit

Graymont's Summit lime plant is located in the Crowsnest Pass area of Southern Alberta. The plant produces limestone and aggregates. Lime operations at this site are currently idled.

Exshaw

The Exshaw plant, situated west of Calgary, Alberta, produces a wide range of lime and limestone products, including high-calcium quicklime, hydrated lime, pulverized limestone and screened limestone. Lime is produced in two rotary preheater kilns.

Storage and shipping facilities are designed to provide flexible load-out for both bulk truck and rail transportation of products, making this plant an extremely reliable source of supply. Bagged lime and limestone products are also available from this plant.

Tacoma

This plant/terminal is located on the Blair Waterway in the Port of Tacoma, Washington. The plant produces hydrated lime products in both bags and bulk. Bagging facilities, bin-bag loading and bulk storage are available for both quicklime and hydrated lime products. These products can be loaded into trucks, railcars or sea-born shipping containers at the plant. Finished lime products can be shipped by truck, rail or barge.

Cricket Mountain

Graymont's Cricket Mountain Plant, situated near Delta, Utah, ranks among the largest, most modern and efficient lime plants in the Western United States. High quality limestone and dolomite are quarried in the Cricket Mountains, approximately six and one-half miles west of the plant. The perfect confluence of ore body, rail spur, and highway access enables Cricket Mountain to effectively compete in both the U.S. and Canadian markets.

Limestone is crushed and sized at the quarry and delivered by truck to the plant where five modern coal-fired kilns produce a wide variety of lime products, including bulk high-calcium and dolomitic quicklime, as well as crushed and pulverized limestone. The plant also has blending facilities capable of producing precise blends for a number of specific applications, including use by the steel industry. Storage and shipping facilities at Cricket Mountain are designed to provide a reliable source of supply to both truck and rail-serviced customers.

Rivergate

The Rivergate facility, a recent addition to Graymont's network of lime production and transfer facilities that spans he western United States, is located in Portland, Oregon, near the fork of the Willamette and Columbia Rivers. It provides Graymont with increased hydrating capacity, while enhancing the Company's ability to supply quicklime and hydrated lime in the greater Oregon and Washington market.

In addition to offering ample silo storage, Rivergate has the bagging capabilities necessary to supply both quicklime and hydrated lime products in either bin bags or paper bags. Recent upgrades to the facility include equipment to unload incoming rail shipments of quicklime, as well as the addition of a second scale to help ensure the timely and accurate loading of bulk trucks.

Pilot Peak

Graymont's Pilot Peak plant - strategically situated near West Wendover, Nevada, in close proximity to the State's major gold producers - is one of the most modern and efficient lime plants in North America. The stone is quarried immediately adjacent to the plant, crushed to size and conveyed directly to the preheater kilns.

The raw material is processed in a modern, fully computerized plant that deploys the latest quality assurance technologies. These technologies enable Graymont to provide customers with a reliable supply of the highest-quality lime available anywhere. A full range of sized bulk quicklime products is on offer. The plant is equipped with a hydrator, as well as storage and shipping facilities that provide for efficient truck and rail delivery to customers.
